Avoid the throngs and take a short hike here. We visited all the falls in this stretch on Historic Hwy between Vista House and exit 35. This was the best experience. While not isolated, it is nowhere like the masses of people at Multonomah. We...More

This hike is a little more challenging, but it is worth the effort. The falls are 365 feet high . It is 2/3 Mille round trip to the base of the falls. It comes in two parts. An upper trail leads to cliffs that provide...More

This smaller and less busy state park is a little over grown with weeds and wild flowers, but this is what makes it so beautiful! Even if you don't hike down to the waterfall this is still a beautiful little loop to take a small...More

The hike to the falls is not long, but it is a challenge. We saw a few people turn back after a few minutes. Be ready for wet spots and plenty of steps. It is a beautiful trail with a beautiful waterfalls at the end.

My husband I went to see the falls. It wasn't the best weather, but it was enjoyable getting away and sightseeing together.

We enjoyed the beauty of this falls - you have to go up to see it. It is more of a walk than any of the others that we saw. You can't see it from the parking lot, but it is worth the hike. Beautiful...More

Farther than other falls from the road and not a slight climb, one of the four falls we see on the way from Portland to the Dalles. Favorite of our relatives in their 20's such a reward for their hike.

The Falls Trail is a .7 mile round trip along a somewhat uneven and up-and-down path, but the close-up view of the Falls at the end of it is well worth the effort!

Bridal Veil waterfall is a very quick drive just West of the larger Multnomah Falls as you make your way on the Historic Columbia River Highway (just off I-84 on the Oregon side of the Columbia River). Be sure to bring a camera for a...More
