State parks that gives you a wonderful feel of the Pacific Northwest oceanscape and forests. A truly remarkable experience. All PROS and no cons.. really. Worth the park admission. My focus was Indian Beach. Two creeks come through the beach. That along with the sound...More

The day we visited the winds were so stiff it was hard to walk against it so our visit was limited. Despite the weather, the view, which was all we got to enjoy, was worth it. A great vantage point for viewing the haystack rock...More

We hiked the Clatsop Loop Trail and it was beautiful! Fairly easy hike, but the rain makes it muddy in a few areas. It was fun watching the surfers in the bay area after the hike. This one is not to be missed.

Our trip hear mid-October was gorgeous. Weather was perfect for hiking and there were no crowds. From the first look-out / parking area my husband and I took the trail to Crescent Beach. The trail mostly meandered through the forest, with a few great lookout...More

The drive through the park to get to the beach lookout is beautiful, curving through lush vegetation. Be careful and go slow, the roads are very narrow. The view at the end of the road is breathtaking!

Narrow entrance road with beautiful tall trees! Many trails to walk and beaches, picnic tables, etc We fell in love with the views! The trails were unbelievable nice! We fell in love with this park.

Park showcases absolutely stunning views of the ocean and the lighthouse rock, but the road is narrow and visitors fail to observe the posted slow speed signs. We narrowly missed a collision twice as visitors sped around corners taking full access to both “lanes”. Use...More

Personally, I don't know but the state park brochure mentions camping. I read in the park brochure there is primitive hiker's camp at the northern point of Ecola State Park near Bird Point.
