The weather was not the best on our visit. Got out of the car and the wind was like a typhoon. Then it started sleeting. Yet as the picture shows it was still beautiful!

This was one of our first weekend trips after moving to the PNW from KY. We love it here, you can hike the trails to different beaches, the views if not foggy are incredible, even with fog it's still beautiful. We love Cannon beach and seeing haystack rock. Ecola has been used in many great films like Goonies, Kindergarten cop... More

This park has some of the most amazing views you will find. There had been some storm damage so parts of the visitor area near the coast were off limits. Don't let that keep you away. If you make the drive into the park - bring a camera, or cell phone.

We felt like we were in the movie Jurassic Park, the hike through the mossy, ferny jungle to Indian Beach was muddy and swampy in the rain, but well worth it for ocean views and beautiful forest greenery.

Well worth the five dollar parking access fee. Incredible ocean views and tide pools at low tide with mussels , goose neck barnacles, star fish and really cool other sea life! ! A must see right in Cannon Beach and close to Seaside or nearby.

We stopped at two spots in the park. One is an overlook and the other has a path down to the beach. It is a great place to sit and watch the waves break on the rocks.

We stopped briefly to see a few things at the park. Some of it has been washed away and the trails are closed for safety reasons. Still a must!

This hike can't be described as anything short of amazing. The deep forest sea side hiking trail is breathtaking. It is pretty strenuous and can be muddy but worth the effort.

Wind through the park surrounded by tall tees and ferns galore! Drove to the viewpoint overlooking the ocean. Very serene. It was a sunny but hazy and could just make out Haystack Rock in the distance. Don't slip in the mud like I did!
