Just so pretty here! You can stroll or sit and the coast is so welcoming. An easy walk from parking lot. The sunsets here are quiet as not very crowded and the afterglow lingers because nothing around the coast here!

We have been to Hug Beach many times over the years. Young kids, family get togethers, teens still love it. Great place to feed the birds, walk the beach, and pictures. If you go at low tide there are tide pools around the rocks and...More

Hug Point is an easy stop off Hwy 101. We spent the day driving and stopping on 101 to take in the beauty that is the Oregon Coast. Hug Point has easy parking with a set of stairs down to the beach. Before you head...More

We had a great time playing around in the caves and on the rocks at this beach. The tide was just coming in and it was fascinating to see the waves crashing against the rocks. The parking lot is not very big so parking is...More

Be sure to get a tide table and go to Hug Point at low tide. This is the only time you can view the Sea Caves and waterfalls on the beach. Very cool....and romantic.

I'm not sure the official answer but we did see some people that started a fire inside one of the caves.
