Our family has always loved Cannon beach. It has great scenery, we would have the family camping trip there every year for many years.

There had been a high wave warning previously, so I wasn't sure what I would find. The sea was wild, waves beautiful. The sun kept peaking out, so the lighting was fantastic. Not much of a crowd, which was lovely.

Beautiful setting. Here lies scenic Haystock Rock - site where the 80s movie Goonies was filmed. Flat beach great for long walks/jogs. And amazing west coast sunsets

This beach is certainly worth a weekend trip when in the Pacific Northwest. The ocean waves crash and pound the stand rhythmically. Walking the beach is a good way to discover tide pools especially near Haystack Rock. Children love looking for small sea creatures left...More

Probably. The coast is beautiful in the rain and that's when you find beach treasures, but raincoats are to be expected gear.
