We arrived just after sunset and still had a great view. The Pacific Ocean is incredible. These rock formations are beyond beautiful. The one on the right in my picture is bigger than my two story house. We heard the Goonies water scene was here. Cannon Beach is a cute town. It reminds me of Mackinaw City, Michigan. Add it... Haystack rock in Cannon Beach are a must-see went on the Oregon coast. The beach itself was fairly flat, but several people were not paying attention. "Sneaker waves" came up and got them. You need to never turn your back on the ocean.

Cannon Beach is the darling of the Oregon Coast, so it also has the visitors to go along with it. I normally prefer to stay somewhere farther south and stop for coffee or dinner or a walk on the beach but it never fails to dazzle whatever the weather.

We hit this town on our road trip down the west coast. We were fortunate to be there that time of year (Early November) as the businesses were all open but the crowds were not there. This is the best place to go to view the famous Haystack Rock. I also want to shout out to Ruby Beach - a... More

We've been to Cannon Beach several times. It always a quick and fun getaway. There's a lot of great little stores and restaurants. It's a perfect little walking town.

While there are numerous small hamlets and towns along Oregon's spectacular coastline, the charming village/town of Cannon Beach pretty much tops them all. If you are looking for a diverse range of restaurants, shops, seaside activities sand accommodation, this is a place you will want to stay, regardless of weather and season. Kudos to the municipality for maintaining such high... More

We came to cannon beach to meet with friends. From the quaint downtown and coffee shops to the expansive and picturesque rocky coast line, this is a must do for anyone wanting to experience the northwest in all of its glory.
