Although I have driven by this beautiful vista many times, I had never made the decision to stop. Today offered the chance as I was with my family, beautiful weather and plenty of time. We walked up to the bridge and took some wonderful pictures...More

Lovely place to visit. The scenic highway drive to get there is beautiful. We hiked the 1.2 miles to the top of the falls. It was a steep climb with 11 switchbacks but not too difficult. We took our time and enjoyed the scenery. Lots...More

We did the 6 mile loop here. Walk to top of falls and keep going up/left. It's 6 miles and at our time not many had hiked so the green was tight to the trail. Be prepared to traverse some streams. Tennis shoes will get...More

There's something about this place, ancient, mystical and magical. Very picturesque. Short hike to Benson Bridge for a different perspective or hike all the way to the top and look down upon creation. Sun or rain, it's beautiful.

A must see when in to Oregon! It's in the outskirts area, far from the city so you'll need a car to go here. If you're the outdoor type who loves hiking, this is the place for you. If you're the one that simply loves...More

Beautiful falls and definitely something to see, but just a heads up you will be with many other people and a huge tourist trap. Food...store...and a easy walk right up to the falls. Not very natural, but awesome either way.

We went to the Columbia River Gorge and went to see Multnomah Falls the Friday before Memorial Day Weekend. It was the busiest I have seen it (expected of course). The falls were as beautiful as ever.

Hoping I'll get some answers before we visit the falls tomorrow. We'll be traveling from Portland and we'll have our 18-mo old with us. Is it best to take the stroller or carry her? I'm assuming based on what I'm reading that we'll likely only make it to the first stop b/c from there it's steep... is that accurate? Also where is the best place to park considering we'll have a toddler?

We did see a few strollers on our way to the falls. You can manage with the stroller. There are a couple of one-step up areas that you would need to pick it up, but that's all. We just went to the bridge which is amazing... More

Can you recommend some good hikes at or around Multnomah Falls (4-5 miles) and other worthwhile waterfalls to visit? We have a rental car for one day. Thank you! :)
