This is a quick drive to the top of a small, long extinct volcano. The view is spectacular in all directions. We saw several people walking/running up and down the mountain. Not really a destination, but more a viewpoint or exercise trail.

The hike to the top is only about a mile on a nice, wide path. Beautiful views made for fabulous photos. There were quite a few people on the trail, but everyone spoke and was friendly.

Very easy to reach with amazing view of the whole area. Don't miss this one. Try to go there once the visibility is good enough.

If you start from the trailhead parking lot, time wise 30 minutes or less each direction. Just Under 2 miles round trip.
