What a wonderful home and the docent was very good at her job, she had replies to all of our questions and even made a quick call to find out some thing for us when didn't know. I recommended a one to two hour stay but I could have stayed all day.

What a wonderful museum. There is something for everyone. Allow plenty of time, we only had an hour due to a reservation we had to keep in another town. We could have easily spent another hour or more. The fact that Baker City was given funds by Leo Adler to do so many things for their community, and they invested... More

We had a personal (just the two of us) tour of the Adler House, arranged by the desk at the Geiser Grand Hotel since it was off-season. The guide was flexible about adjusting the details to suit our interest areas, which was great. The house has been lovingly restored and the story is striking - can you imagine living in... More

This was an excellent look into what domestic life was like in the late 1800. The house was beautifully crafted and well restored. It is worth climbing the 28 stairs to see the upstairs.

Leo Adler is inspiring. He worked hard, cared for his fellow citizens, and obviously loved all of Baker City. He did well, and he did not forget those around him as he prospered. It is a privilege to partake of his history and his life, and the people of Baker who have restored his house and preserved his memory are... More

Had we just walked through the Adler House on our own, we would have gotten a small fraction of the history, character, and personalities that the house embodies. Thanks to an engaging and knowledgeable docent, we had an excellent experience, which added to our love of Baker City. Well worth the price--don't miss it!

The tour of the house is very interesting and full of local history. Leo was a self made man who loved Baker and really supported the community. This is a great place to spend an hour. They give a 2 buck discount if you want to see the town museum as well.

Restored to its earliest days. Most of the objects, pictures and furnishings or original to the house or time period. We had a special request to visit because the house is only open on Friday and Saturday. But we learned a great deal about the house and the family. Wonderful!
