Great place to take a walk or spend some time with the family. There's plenty to do here if you want to walk the 3 mile trial, play golf, play ball, play on the play ground, sit in the shade, or enjoy a picnic under the covered areas with the family.

We love all the different playground areas, and the picnic spots are perfect for birthday parties or family gathering.

I recently stayed at hotel close by the park and was thrilled that the running trail around the park was accessible from the hotel without having to drive. The park trail was really good, a mix of concrete and some packed gravel portions. I was happy that the water fountains were still operating so late in the winter (December). The... More

LaFortune Park is a wonderful park to visit. There is a pool for summer, a golf course, playground equipment, covered picnic areas, a community center, a library, and a walking trail around the entire park. Something for everyone.

Nice paved trail, in use by plenty of people. 3.2 miles is a nice walk in the morning. Also looks to be well lit at night.

I was visiting the Woody Guthrie Center and found this Park across the street. There was a yoga group with instructor using the park, a bar in the park, and ended with a live local concert on a small stage. I found it really relaxing way to wind down the evening.

The park you are referring to is Guthrie Green. Great downtown spot for concerts, picnics and art show. We hope you'll venture South and check out LaFortune Park! More

Probably Tulsa's most heavily used parks. A lot of foot traffic. It is really nice a very safe. With all those people you've got to expect some wear and tear. Especially on the play ground equipment. Me and my family go to this park about twice a month. The walking trail is excellent about 3 miles or so. The ducks... More

The pavilion was perfect for our group of 50 to wish a colleague farewell. It would also be perfect for a birthday party. We used the grill and brought food & drings. There are no fans; there are plenty of flies, but at least you can carry on rain or shine :) There's also a 5K walking trail around the... More

LaFortune Park offers a full 18 golf course as well as a par three course. It has picnic areas and a swimming pool. Many people will park their cars and then go running and/or jogging around the park.
