Rive parks really is the best thing about Tulsa, not many US cities seem to be investing money in outdoor parks and recreation yet Tulsa is consistently making their parks better and better and it is very refreshing to see!

Many places to walk and enjoy lunch along the Arkansas river with pets, family and children. Also the north section is near the downtown area.

A day in the park or a bike ride. How about a bite to eat. You can find it at River Parks. From Tulsa to Jenks and growing

It has a great walking/biking trail all along the Arkansas River with lots of wildlife sculptures along the path. There's also a playground that the kids loved. Lots of green grass areas to rest.

The walk across the Arkansas River on the old railroad bridge is well worth the trip to this river park.

We watched the fireworks from the park area at 41st and Riverside. I did not realize there is a splash park and playground equipment there. My grandson had a blast splashing in the water and playing before the fireworks started.

We visited river parks this morning as it is a way for my spouse to enjoy the trails with a scooter. My spouse has mobility issues and uses a scooter to go longer distances. We set off on a comfortable morning temp. Breeze blowing, birds...More

Is there a dog friendly area at the parks?

There are many open areas friendly to dogs but it is also shared with frisbee golf and picnic goers. There is no formal fenced off area I know of as of yet, but if you were to appeal to the parks authority....maybe one day.
Is there a large section of trail that is closed due to construction? I was hoping to use it next week when I'm there from out of town. Thanks!

I have seen many birthday parties at the 41st and Riverside pavilion. You might contact Tulsa Parks and Rec for more information on how to reserve space.
