This was a great overview and introduction to Oklahoma history. Plan plenty of time. We had to go back the second day to visit all floors of the museum. If you want history, here is where you should start. Loved the section on Oklahoma entrepreneurs,

The museum journey began with the Native American and early settlers arrival to the "Sooner" State. Beautiful one-of-a-kind artifacts made by plains tribes. Upstairs exhibits a trip down memory lane for those of a seasoned age.

My husband and I love museums. This was our first time visiting the Oklahoma History Center. The content was extremely educational, however the layout of some of the exhibits was a bit confusing. Overall a really good experience and would recommend to anyone visiting Oklahoma City.

I was lucky to be here for a museum conference and they pulled out the red carpet for our group. There is a lot to see and the people are very nice. Tells the history of Oklahoma very well with interesting exhibits. I am from Nebraska and really enjoyed learning about Oklahoma at this and several other museums and memorials

Our 1st visit. We were there 3 hours and had to leave because they were closing. The exhibits were all wonderful. Especially liked the Indians of Oklahoma exhibit. This is truly a Okla. History museum. Will go back next time we are in town.

This museum is the perfect place to start if you're visiting from out of state and want to learn about Oklahoma's history. There's a large amount of information presented in a very interesting way.

A good museum with information on the history of the state and some cool stories about the local culture and businesses that originated in Oklahoma. Probably worth of 1.5 - 2 hours of time.

I took my niece last year and we loved it! We got to look at everything and take our time doing it, which was wonderful! If we had gone with a guided tour, we might have missed something, though that would not have been the guide's fault. Very enjoyable and relaxing!!!

What a neat place...learned a lot about Oklahoma and many of the thing that have happened in the state. This is where the first grocery cart was invented and Oklahoma City was the first place to have a parking meter installed! Really enjoyed it all and the outside area is a really nice walk and educational.
