The Weltzenhoffer collection at this museum is the crown jewel. It is the largest and most valuable ($50 million) collection of Impressionist art ever donated to a university. They have it on display exactly as the Weltzenhoffers did at their home. There are four or...More

Famous pieces by VERY famous artists. You won't believe that it's all here in Norman. These are pieces that I would expect to see in New York. I have been back several times. 3 floors of amazing art and it's free.

This is part of the University of Oklahoma. It is rich with Indian art and has a great small collection of Impressionism. Entrance is by one's own donation. A museum not to be missed.

Free is my favorite cost of admission. This art museum is located on the OU campus and has free parking across the street. Total time here is about 2-3 hours or less if your quick at art museums. They have many native artist exhibits as...More

Our family enjoyed the afternoon at the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art. We visited after taking a drive through OU’s campus. First thing, how wonderful to have a free art museum on a college campus. Great for visitors, students and staff alike! Good variety...More
