A must see in Norman!

If you are visiting Norman, or in the area, you have to spend some time in the natural history museum. Great for people of all ages.... Yummy cafe and great gift shop!

Thought there would be more dinosaurs, and the dinosaur dig area was pretty lame. Basically brushing sand around with paint brushes. Lots of reading and exhibits that seem more interesting for adults rather than children. Glad we checked it out, but probably won't be back anytime soon.

Nice museum with lot of history of Oklahoma animals and culture. Docents are knowledgable and friendly. Not attention holding for my 5 yr old but a lot to see.

We had a solid day. The kids were very happy and that means... mom was too! We thought the staff was wonderful and helpful. They really know their stuff. They made the day informative as well as entertaining. Definitely, worth it if you want to explore Norman.

I have been several times - with young kids, with teens and adults. Fun, educational , learned something new each time. Excellent exhibits - temporary and permanent.

The displays are beautiful and the special exhibits can be great (right now its a Shakespeare First Folio, Galileo, and a collection of 16th century books on natural history). Good history, great things to see and to spend some quality time with the family! Like it and enjoyed it even though I'm not the museum type. If you are in the are I don't see why not give it a try...
