Very nice and very surprised how much wildlife we saw! Beavers, large variety of birds, pronghorns, etc. Very nice camp spots near Lake Etling. Very well kept, clean state park! Even has a small section of petrified wood. Went in September and very pleasant temperatures....More

The Black Mesa State Park is just a great place to go for wonderful views, the great outdoors and for hiking and camping. Just a wonderful place.

I have lived my whole life without seeing see the Black Mesa State Park, and finally made a point to stop by on our way to Colorado. Loved the countryside and isolation. You can't believe you are in Oklahoma!!!
