I think the reviewers that gave this hotel a low rating must not be Frank Lloyd Wright fans. Loved the unique experience, the history, and the great views. Probably not a good choice for people that like big box store experiences with no tolerance for...More

I must admit that the architectural aspect of staying in the Frank Lloyd Wright designed tower was appealing and totally won my husband over, but it was worn and dirty. There were stains on the carpet and in the bathrooms. The white bath mat was...More

This building is simply stunning. FLW wasn’t known for his “skyscrapers” so anyone who’s into his work needs to see this place. It’s a work of art in an unexpected location. Very, VERY cool building that makes you wonder why more of today’s architects and...More

It is a Frank Lloyd Wright skyscraper, which is rarity for his architectural style. Interesting copper panels cover the outside and give the building its distinctive, green color. Signage outside the building told quite a bit about the building.

The staff is very attentive, the tour is outstanding. The room had an awesome view of the surroundings. We saw spectacular sunsets from the room. You get a sense of the efficient FLW architecture. The windows were not very clean. The elevators are very small.

It’s very unusual and different. Examples of furnishings designed by Wright for the building are on the second floor. We did not take the tour.

You can MUCH MORE interior and story with the tour. I think they may be willing to schedule a special tour for you. I'd go anyhow even if the tour does not fit into your schedule as you can see much of the building.

Yes. The tower must arrange for a docent to come be a guide and each tour is limited to about 8 people.
