The Frank Phillips Ranch was founded in 1925 and the Woolaroc Museum had a humble beginning four years later in 1929. The 3,700 acre wildlife preserve is home to more than 30 varieties of native and exotic animals and birds. It is a working ranch that maintains the animals for the enjoyment of our guests in a natural, protected setting. The Woolaroc Museum presents one of the world's most unique collections of Western art and artifacts; Native American pottery, baskets, beads, blankets and cultural art; historical displays; and one of the most complete collections of Colt firearms. Guests can also tour the Lodge, which was used as a place for Frank Phillips to entertain his friends and maintain business relationships. The Lodge abounds with tales of the parties, business events and wilder goings-on.

We always bring guests and travelers to Woolaroc. The land and bison are amazing to drive through but the museum and treasures are a hidden jewel. Guests are always amazed at the amazing collection hidden in Osage County. Worth the visit.

How is it that I grew up in Oklahoma and never knew about this little gem? The drive in is great with some closeups with some elk, buffalo, deer and other wildlife. The museum is hands down fascinating! It just goes on and on! The artifacts are fantastic and I learned a great deal. Mr. Phillips outdid himself leaving this... More

This was the first time I've been back to Woolaroc in over 20 years and I felt like a kid again. The museum is wonderful, the paintings are beautiful and the land itself along with the animals are absolutely stunning. I highly recommend a trip to Woolaroc.

I'm not much of a nature preserve guy, but this is so much more. It is more of a peaceful portal into the past. The historical perspective is quite fascinating. If nothing else, it's a beautiful place to bring a picnic and enjoy the gentle breeze and nature at its finest. Take the time to explore this quiescent piece of... More
