We visited the day before COVID closures began. It was an afternoon weekday. There were a few people, but it wasn't overly crowded. It is a clearly marked path and a lovely wood.…

Great little park area in Delaware County. Not as big as some of the larger metro parks in the Columbus/Franklin Park system but it's still a very nice park. Somewhat hilly but not real hilly. I believe the trail us only a 1+ miles circular train but it has plenty of trees, bushes, and wildlife. Located in southern area of Delaware county. We love hiking at Char Mar! It is truly enchanting, you feel like you are far away from the city. Great for exercise, dog friendly, beautiful scenery, and so peaceful. Small natural playground for kids.

There is a nice exercise course set up along the trail. The blind over the lake was really nice. Plenty of parking and a nice restroom.…

We hike here a lot! This is only one trail of about a mile and a half, but it is all woods. It also has a large pond with a blind for viewing some water fowl. These include wood ducks and green heron. They have bird feeders that attract many beautiful species including red headed, red bellied, hairy and downy wood peckers. At dusk, you can even see and hear Barred Owls. It is a very nice park!…
