Sherod Park is located right on the Lake Erie shore. It is a favorite spot for watching the spectacular sunsets over the lake. There is a soccer field and a baseball field, as well as a fitness walking trail. Unfortunately, the park is mostly neglected...More

Enjoy a fun afternoon or come for the sunsets at Sherod Park. There's really not a lot of amenities but there is the awesome views of Lake Erie.

You can walk along the beach and catch a mulched trail that goes around the park. There are stations you can stop at to do more exercises/stretches. I would NOT swim here though, just doesn't seem the cleanest-tends to be some dead fish.

My wife and I called here for a walk as part of our Lake Erie tour. It is very pleasant indeed and well worth spending at least half an hour here.

Sherod Park is always pleasant! Just down the road from our home, the children love to play and dip their toes in Lake Erie. Beautiful view of either the sunrise, or sunset at Sherod Park!

Plenty of parking. There is a large beach and walking paths with ball diamonds, exercise stations and picnic areas. The real deal is to be there for sunset with cedar point in the background. Its a great place to see the sunset.

A great location for watching the sunset over Cedar point. Don't forget to watch the submarine races while you are there...

I have lived in Vermilion my whole life and my Grandma always took me to Sherod. Back in the day, it was BEAUTIFUL. But now it seems that Vermilion would rather spend their money on making more parks than maintaining the ones we have. The...More
