The old mill was a busy place on a sunny fall weekend but there were still spaces available in the gravel parking lot. The ice cream viewing tour was closed off due to covid restrictions, but the gift shop and ice cream store were open with face coverings required. Had a big family in front of us but the staff was fast and friendly. filling the big order quickly so we had very little wait time. The cones, floats. malts, and sundaes cost more than something from Dairy Queen, but the DQ doesn't have Apple Cobbler or Pumpkin Cheesecake sundaes, either, which is what my son and I ordered. My husband got a pumpkin pie sundae & I got a scoop of cinnamon ice cream in a waffle cone (it was huge). This cost $11.35 (for reference). We both loved our ice cream we also loved sitting watching the ducks, as well.…

Stopped in during the latter part of the COVID outbreak. No tours available at that time but still a great place for ice cream. Reasonable prices for delicious ice cream and grounds are beautiful. Definitely a worth the visit if you are traveling through the area.
