Preserve contains one of the best tall-grass prairies in Ohio plus a wealth of activities and attractions including a boardwalk, covered bridge, 100-year old schoolhouse and a hiking trail that connects to the University/Parks Trail.

Great place to hang out to check out nature walks. Several trails, open year round, easy hiking. Plenty of deer and small animals.

We drove in at the Manor and up to the additional parking in there was a pleasant spot with a couple of picnic benches to have lunch.

You have a lot of great possibilities at this park. Even the tour of the manor is fun. There us places to rent and places for free to picnic.

Yes! All the metroparks are free and fabulous! They have expanded rapidly in the last few years, adding parks I haven't even been to yet. You can get lots of info at metroparks toledo (all one word) period com. Enjoy!

Definitely open. I know the little office is not open sundays but can certainly walk and such
