I am very, very appreciative of whomever invested in this. As a non-combatant veteran have visited 94 National Cemeteries or other veterans cemeteries including Normandy and the Punchbowl in Hawaii and many other memorials. It is sobering to consider that these men and women purchased our freedom in the Revolutionary War, protected it in 1812, freed the slaves in 1865, saved Europe in 1918, ended the Holocaust in 1945 and have protected the cause of freedom in many lands since. American veteran cemeteries have the traditional slab, but like the 26 cemeteries managed my the American Battle Monuments Commission oversees, Sunbury has crosses or Stars of David.…

A beautiful moving tribute to Ohio service members who paid the ultimate sacrifice. Their sacrifice allows us to enjoy the freedoms we have today. Best to park at the shopping center and walk down to the memorial.
