Having been to the cave several times in my life I am always amused with the short tour of somehting really cool. not nearly as long as some cave tours in Ohio, it is still amazing to see.

The stalagmites or stalactites (sp?), were super small. Apparently the owner in the 1800s chopped them all off thinking they'd grow back. So, it was missing that wow factor. However, the tour guide was amazing. She was super funny and engaged. She made it fun!

It's a nice little respite from the heat and nice to see for the first few minutes but it gets stretched out and the tour guide could work on the presentation.

If you are looking for a cave experience resembling Mammoth Caves, you will not find it here. A tour is 20 minutes and the cave is not very big at all. There is some interesting history associated with the cave. It is very touristy, but...More

You can rent a golf cart (noisy and you still need to find a place to park it, rent a bike (best way), walk or use the taxi system (only $3.00 per person).. Off the ferry the taxi is great.
