I had heard that the Columbus Zoo was good, but am amazed at how beyond "good" that it is. First of all, it's huge (so bring your walking shoes), but that means that they can accommodate a wide variety of animals. Secondly, they have wonderful...More

The weather is perfect with a noontime temperature of 65. The park is once again as clean, and the staff as friendly, as it was on the first day of summer. The animals are active and curious today.

It was very clean and easy to get in and out of different attractions. I enjoyed all you could do with the zoo-it-all pass: unlimited riding on rides and camels. The kids and I really enjoyed it. Not a lot of choices in food and...More

The Columbus Zoo has made so many additions making it impossible to see it all in one day. The most fun is watching the cheetah run, feeding the giraffes and watching the baby polar bears. Watching the adult polar bears eat through the underwater window...More

We visited on Labor Day. Got there early. Went directly to the polar bear exhibit. Polar bears were in the water. Grand kids wanted to see the bats. We made our way over to Asia after a stop at the petting area. Went over to...More

So much to do at the Columbus zoo. They have the zoo spread out on different demographics. Which helps in the ease of navigating the park. I would recommend going early as the animals are less active in the heat of the day. There are...More

This was one of the best parts of our summer and it wasn't far from home. This zoo is so well organized and spread out that you do not realize the number of people who are there at the same time.

We visited the zoo with family and had a wonderful time. The day was overcast and cooler: perfect! We enjoyed watching the gorillas being fed, cheetahs chase a ball and an aardvark search for food. We've been to the Bronx Zoo and thought this one...More

I make sure to keep the Family Plus Membership card. This means my wife and I and all our grandkids are admitted free, plus 2 other guests. Well worth the yearly fee. Best zoo ever, with great exhibits and plenty of shows.

They have a huge parking lot where an rv should have no problem day parking. But to my knowledge (and I have been over the whole lot) there are no evidence specific areas. Out near the edges should be no problem. But no... More

I stood at the entrance to the tall deck where the giraffes come up and saw very clearly people feeding them, their very long tongues wrapping around the leaves. Viicarious enjoyment for free!
