Took my niece to the zoo after a morning at OSU hospital for monthly tests. Was able to fit the zoo in between rain storms. Niece has pulmonary issues so needs a wheel chair that goes with us when long treks are necessary. Was a little cooler than we anticipated (zoo was pretty empty) but got a warm reception at... More

Zoo lights is always enjoyable. Great place to share with family and friends for an evening out and to make memories. There are refreshments to be purchased as well.

I always wanted to go here and was here for the night so decided to go the day we were going back home. It was a nice zoo and big. We got in for a discounted amount but the down side was alot of things were closed for the season. The brown bears were nice and they were huge. The... More

I had a great time seeing all the animals that where our but sadly most of them where not out cause of the cold weather. I want to go back in the summer when all the animals are out epically the kangaroos. My favorite thing I did get to see was the Kola bear. I is so nice there that... More

I typically do not like zoos ..lot of walking and not a big fan of trying to locate an animal behind glass. We were talked into going and WOW, best zoo I have ever been to. I can see what all the fuss is about. This place has a great layout, signage is exceptional and the details in the exhibits... More

The Columbus Zoo is really the perfect thing to do when you're spending any length of time with young children that needs to be filled, or you just have some free time and don't have the cash on hand for a big fancy night out. As far as zoos go, I've seen my fair share, having lived in 4 different... More

Can't say enough about the zoo. Very friendly staff. Wonderful exhibits. Animals appear to be treated very well. Get there early. Gets busy quickly.

We are annual pass members and try to visit the zoo at least once per month. I am amazed by how the zoo has grown over the past several years. I would say that the new Heart of Africa region could compete with Disney's Animal Kingdom (another place we love!). This zoo definitely has enough to keep a family busy... More

This place is absolutely a must do in Columbus, especially if you have children. The park is organized in thematic areas, and depending on the season different attractions will be available. If you want to save money family membership is very convenient! Overall highly suggested!

We went on an unseasonably warm day in February. It cost only $10 to get in since it's winter; normally, it's $20, which is kind of steep to me. Also, parking is $10, which is kind of a downer. A couple of the exhibits were closed but that didn't matter much. It took us four hours to get through the... More
