You really have to be into history to understand the work and effort that went into this. AMAZING is short on description. Great staff and all very knowledgeable. Every child should go through this to get a sense of America and the times of this area, importance in civil war and the people that made this area great.

It's a small museum. Very interesting. We enjoyed the history lesson. A great place to learn about the area. It was worth the minimal admission.

Several of us visited the Christmas display. They have done a ssuper job of decorating. The staff was very informative about the history of the building. We didn't have lunch but it looked like a good value. We will plan to eat here next year.

We were given a tour of the house and given a very interesting talk. We were there with our group of people from all over the state. They were a little confused at first when we talked with them about the events but got straightened out as time went on.

The Christmas Open House was beautifully done and the Lake County history very nicely told. The staff and volunteers are very dedicated people and the move into this facility has been very good for the Society.

What an remarkable place. The grounds are kept beautiful. The gift shop Is open, which helps support the Historical Center. The clothes and all the memorabilia is just exquisite. This is a wonderful family outing. So much to learn and we always find new facts. Great experience for yopung and old. Beautiful setting.

The layout of this museum is very nicely done; every room of this big house has a different, yet related theme. The History Center is well known for its collection of music boxes, but the Civil War, dollhouse and Mormon exhibits are also very interesting. (The Mormon exhibit presents a very different perspective as to why the believers left the... More

I came to the Center for their annual paranormal exploration of the building, which is the old county poor house. My companions and I were so intrigued that we came back the next day to check out the exhibits. They really did a nice job with it. Many of the rooms were set up to show you what Victorian parlors...
