This is a nice nature walk or bike ride. Rustling river, multiple birds, and sceanic bluffs. We found it hard to find, no signs on Hyw 16. We had to ask for directions. Smooth path for strolling, wheelchair accessible. And the Blackhand has been gone...More

We came hear with our dog. Some easy trails to walk and a pretty neat old lock from the canal days. Not far from newark or Zanesville. Pretty area. We enjoyed our day trip.

Great bit of history and nature. Not very easy for wheelchairs. Bike and hiking trails. Free! Fishing and hunting permitted with state licenses. On outside of city. Highway close. Free place to take the family. Picnic areas. Can rent canoes to go down the river.
