We hadn't planned on a trip to New Bremen, but needed to kill a bit of time while waiting for a repair on a travel trailer. This is the largest private collection of bicycles in the United States. It's amazing. Interactive parts, educational, and just plain great. Relive your childhood.

Noticed the exit sign en route to Springfield, OH & decided to visit. I've had bikes on the brain lately, particularly recumbents, and thought this would be intriguing & educational. I was not disappointed! Very much worth the $3.00. I only wish I had given myself more time. Jim was very attentive, friendly & resourceful--recommended some good places to bike... More

We were recently in Ohio to visit the Airstream trailer factory and chanced upon a reference to the Bicycle Museum of America in nearby New Bremen. We stopped with only a half hour left before the museum closed but it's definitely on our list for a return visit the next time we are nearby! I have to confess to being... More

I had some time before going home and decided to search for things to do and I passed a highway sign for this place. The town is lovely and historic. Admission was only 3 dollars and the nice older woman at the front desk walked around with me giving me highlights of some pieces as I was the only one... More

Have stopped here many times on visits to the area and always enjoy the museum. Good history and remembrances of the days when I rode bikes. Good collections of old bikes.

Stopped here after lunch at a very nice restaurant nearby and was amazed. Three floors of bicycle history in a special collection of ancient up to modern bicycles. The Schwinn family collect is located here after closure of their museum in Chicago. Various models, eras, and styles from high riders to the safety bike of today. Lots to look at... More
