We've been going to SPI for years, back in its original location, it's second location and it's current location. The current set up is the nicest so far. :) I would say that kids 3-10 years old would find the most to interact with throughout the museum. Everything is bright and the use of the old building makes for a nice historic/community aspect. My kids' favorite things to do include: the interactive sand box, the experiments that rotate, the stereoscope, and the climbing equipment. We've had several good experiences here. One of the staff members can be a bit harsh when giving reminders. I imagine repeating the same thing everyday can be a bit grating, but not everybody knows the same rules when it is their first time or even second time. Friendly directives would be more appreciated. They have a membership available to those families that would like to come often.…

Visited with granddaughter. She wasn't too fond of science.. Especially during holidays. And college.. I am way to young for that, you need to be cleaver she said. Well, after a couple of minutes she was totally into it, wants to come back soon. Fun to do together, parents and son or daughter. Play and learn!…

Great place for kids to learn and enjoy different kind of science. Climbing and just having fun. Adults can put together puzzle pieces, while kids play with other things.
