Lots to see here - industrial ruins, beautiful terraced landscapes with hidden ponds, lakes with comfy swings overlooking them, picturesque bridges. We had a great time!

Nice park that is near Mount Vernon. Interesting history and re-purposed industrial park. Nice outdoor path, tower to climb and a big event center. The rail trail goes right by here so you can reach it on bikes or drive through the area. There is a nice area with small lakes nearby for fishing or a picnic. This is a free activity.

Wow on so many levels. Particularly special at sunset. We were in the area biking and were intrigued by the book in our room at the Mount Vernon Inn, “Ariel-Foundation Park: The Story of an Ohio Town that Preserved its History and Transformed an Abandoned Industrial Site into a World-Class Park” by Aaron Keirns. We didn't have long to visit as nightfall was approaching, but I am so glad we made time to go. After returning to our room, I spent quite a long time perusing the book about the park and it is quite a story. Thanks to all who made this amazing place possible!

Not enough good can be said. Great activities offered for fishing, boating, walking, just spending time in nature.

Nice park that used to be an industrial park (glass making). There is a winding stair tower to climb and enjoy an overview of the entire area. Interesting stair-step like hills to walk, jog or climb. Not much in the way of playground equipment so younger kids might not like it as much as other parks, but still a nice place to visit. The Heart of Ohio bike trail (or Ohio to Erie trail) winds through this park as well.
