There are a lot of unique pieces to purchase...yarn bowls, urns, mugs, casseroles, plates, piggy banks, and lots more. You can even commission pieces to be made just for you. We've been taking classes at Pine Row Studio for over a year now. Pamela and Bill are just wonderful. They are encouraging and really positive. Classes are fun and each class is unique. You learn the basics and are encouraged to be as creative as you want. You can take classes for hand throwing and the wheel. When you make a piece, you leave it to dry and be put in the kiln. Then you go back and choose your glaze. Leave it once more, so it can be fired and then return to pick it up. They are even starting an open studio class time for folks that have taken classes and have ideas of their own to create their own work. You pay for the clay and make whatever you want. Pamela was a high school art teacher and Bill's background has always been in pottery since college (maybe earlier), he's worked on books and even had his own pottery magazine. They bring this experience together to offer whatever support you need and are so knowledgeable. They really make you feel special and treat you like they are glad to see you walk in the door. After all of this time with them, I feel like I'm reviewing old friends.

My teenage daughter and I have attended a couple pottery classes and love it! The classes are fun, we learned a lot, and we left with some new pottery. We’ve also learned how much practice it takes to make really nice pottery. If you don’t want to take a class, Pine Row Studio is where you go to buy pottery. They have beautiful bowls, plates, pie pans, casserole dishes, and other functional pottery, all handmade by the owners.

I took a two hour beginners pottery class taught by Pamela. It was fun. She was very knowledgeable about pottery. She was positive and encouraging. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to do something fun or try something new.
