Their selection of mums and pump was huge! We weren’t looking for baked goods, so we didn’t go into that section of the establishment. They do have a small food truck/trailer outside that sells burgers, fries, drinks, and desserts. When we saw the food sign,...More
I read the reviews here and decided to check this place out. I was NOT disappointed! As you pull in, you notice a ramp on the side of a barn so some goats can climb up on the roof. I was bewildered until I noticed...More
Our family (kids ages 9 & 11) visited Hershberger's Farm & Bakery 3 days ago while traveling from Dublin, OH to CT. We planned to stop for a little while in our trip home but it turned into a full day event. We loved the...More
We didn't get a chance to go into the shopping areas, it was so busy. Remember this is a farm so don't expect not to smell the animals and it's surroundings. Some of the smaller animals roam freely and will snitch nibbles from the carrots...More
Every trip to Ohio we stop by Hershberger Farm and Bakery. We have met and spoken with Mr Hershberger (who started it all), and enjoy sharing the delight with friends and family. For us, it is a must stop. We will drive out of our...More

My 9 yr. old daughter and I stopped at Hershberger's on July 27, 2018. We absolutely loved the petting farm inside their huge barn. There were goats, horses, pigs, chickens, cows, rabbits and lots of other critters to see, feed and play with. There were...More

We visited the farm in October, 2016. There were no puppies, no signs about having puppies for sale, nor any evidence of a puppy mill. That being said, if they are in the puppy mill business, they certainly would not include it as part of a tourist attraction. If you a looking to boycott them because of this activity, we saw no evidence of it. If you are looking to buy a puppy, no matter where you are, I'm sure there are lots of local breeders and rescue shelters that could provide you with an option.
What led you to conclude it's a puppy mill, and make such a statement? Did you see where the puppies came from? Did you meet their parents? If not, you're more of a slanderer than they are a puppy mill. :(
