This is such a beautiful, peaceful place to visit. Plenty of benches and tables to rest. I got to meet a gentleman that was painting the sign. Really nice guy. Keep up the good work.

It was a nice visit the last day of September. Unfortunately everything was closed. Thinking it is best to see the lighthouses in the area during the summer.

After going past it a thousand times either by land or by sea, we began to stop for a visit for the first time about 6 years ago. Make a trip each year now--and always with the grandkids, and sometimes their moms and dads. It's...More

This lighthouse is set beautifully right at the edge of the water. You can go up in the lighthouse as well as visit the light keeper's house. Cedar Point amusement park can be seen across the lake. The views from this area are great.

I am new to the Great Lakes so I cannot help with your route. However, I can tell you that the Marblehead Lighthouse is worth seeing. There are also other attractions close by that wouldn't take up a lot of time but also... More
