This was a refreshing area to walk in after a day of shopping nearby. A mall is literally across the street! While we did visit here in April there isn't a lot of greenery here as of yet besides grass. There were plenty of bird...More

Acacia Reservation is a great place if you just want to take a walk. The paths are concrete or tarred while there are slight hills, most of the area is flat. People come alone, in pairs or groups, with babies and dogs.

Daughter's wedding on Presidents Day weekend was spectacular, not just because the weather turned out to to be delightful but the accommodations, food and especially the service were outstanding. Well done!

This is not a complicated walk but...it can be! With the old club house behind you (now a for-rent party center with catering), there are basically only two ways to go: straight, with three paths that intertwine & cross with each other or left, which...More

We are thrilled that this former golf course has been converted to a beautiful Metropark. Features include miles of all purpose trails, several fishing ponds and beautiful meadows with wild flowers.

This was a golf course so the walking trails follow the old golf cart trails. A popular spot for locals to walk their dogs. The trails will be nicer to walk once the golf course is more naturalized, otherwise it's like walking through a golf...More

This is a former golf course, now converted to a beautiful Metropark. The park includes three large ponds (fishing allowed) and several miles of hiking paths. We live nearby and frequently walk in the park. We see others who run, bicycle, walk their dogs or...More

Very nice park for a walk on former golf paths. The golf course is being naturalized and there are lots of wildflowers in season. There are several ponds where one may fish. Lots of Canada Geese around so one may need to watch out of...More
