Al waited for us to check in; we were thankful because it was dark and finding a site for our Class A would have been a challenge. He even came back the next day to check on us. The GM, Jeremy, was also very helpful. Everyone was hospitable. We enjoyed the lake, fires at night, hikes and biking. Great campground and the adventures area, including the livery, was great. Highly recommend.

Unlike the sign posted, you were not required to wear a mask into the office to register for canoeing, and other customers that came in were unmasked. Unlike I was told on the phone, there was no requirement/request to wear a mask on the bus after canoeing. Our group 6 were the only ones on the bus of 40+ wearing masks. I complained about this to the manager after our trip. Her reply was that not everyone can wear masks. This maybe true, there was no attempt whatsoever to enforce the state mandate to wear a mask. There is no way that all of these folks on the bus were unable to wear masks. This lack of respect for the safety of their customers makes this business totally unacceptable. Since they are unsafe for Covid, what other safety measures are they ignoring? If I'd seen the review by Mrsjd123 before we went there, I would not have gone to Mohican Adventures.

we arrived the day before labor day, then basically had the place to ourselves for a few days after the holiday campers left. the staff is friendly, I loved that the restrooms were each individual locked stalls with their own sink and shower. our electric tent site was right next to the creek, and thanks to the torrential downpour on labor day, we got to see the waterfall in all its glory, supposedly for the first time this season. campers were friendly and respectful, quiet hours were honored near us. overall we were so happy with our stay and would definitely return.

Mohican adventures NOT following COVID-19 guidelines. Despite what their website says, they are NOT requiring masks on the bus. They pack the bus every single seat, and most people on the bus are not wearing masks. No social distancing is being encouraged by any employees, I asked before we got on the bus if there would be social distancing the driver said no. And she did not require Masks for those getting on the bus. If you are looking for a Covid safe family outing, this is not the place to go. I spoke to a manager after our trip, and she said “there’s nothing we can do, we are very busy.“ Like every other business in the country, they should reduce the number of people they allow, and make prior reservations, if they cannot handle the amount of people that will be there. The manager said the way they are encouraging less people to come, is “we raised our prices, to discourage lots of people from coming“ That is appalling. We got charged more than was listed on the website. We were charged $55 a person. But you don’t know that until you get there. Just absolutely horrendous.

We are RVers and got a good site - went for a walk and were amazed at the fact that all of the cabins were rented ( during the week ) ! Plus the scenery was so mountain looking with the cabins right on the waterfront and the foliage covered hill in the background - it looked like a picture postcard . The RV sites were not as picturesque but were fine as an alternative to the state park which was full.
