Only open Saturday's and Sunday's
Jul 2019
We parked and the dogs were very excited. The park is multiple bldg. set back in the day of a flour grinding mill. We were able to walk around and see all the out bldg. There is a short hiking trail on the side of the Mountain. Our Sheppard's found a deer and was trilled. We enjoyed walking around and talking to the care takers that work there for the summer. We were told at the beginning of summer there is a huge wine festival held here. There is a donation at the end of the parking lot and soft drinks are sold inside the first bldg.

Closed??
Jul 2019 • Couples
Sign said they are open noon-5pm, but we tried twice during these hours on their posted days and found it was still closed. So we aren’t really sure WHAT their actual hours are. Kinda stunk.

International WIne Festival
Jun 2019 • Friends
So this was my first time at the grist mill's fund-raising International Wine Festival. What a delightful surprise afternoon.
Ok, the place was packed. Live music. Free popcorn and free peanuts. Pizza available to order.
For your $10 entry fee, you get a plastic bracelet that gives you 10 wine samples. The samples are VERY small, so it is not that much wine. Some samples were only 2 sips. That said, there were numerous wines and wineries featured. And it was a great opportunity to discover a new favorite wine.
Picnic tables abound and they were sufficient for the crowd. I really appreciated that the tables had umbrellas to protect those seated from the sun. Whew, we kept cool.
Interestingly, several of us did not use up our wine-tasting tabs. In other words, the $10 fee gave us more than enough wine samples. This was a group of family and friends which made the event even more fun.

Right off the main road!
Sep 2018 • Family
Stop by and see this mill which is right off the main road. If you have breathing problems due to mold and dust, this is not the place for you. I had a hard time staying inside for more than 5 minutes. It is a nice part of history. There is a trail which is VERY steep. I guess we had no idea how much, until it was a bit late to turn back.

Great work in progress!

Great place to visit to learn about the workings of a grist mill. Nice to see the mill along with all of the other old buildings that have been saved. The grounds are very pretty.

Perfect picnic spot!
Apr 2018 • Family
We went there to see animals from Columbus Zoo at Wildlife Week, but we really liked the mill as well! We spent a few hours checking the dusty machinery inside and hiking in the woods around the mill. There are picnic tables and a lot of old structures to explore!

Oktoberfest, Beer tasting festival
Sep 2017 • Couples
The setting is nice, on the grounds of the being restored mill. The people attending for the afternoon were friendly. The music was fine- pedestrian Americana, covers of songs that most people knew. The beers while many in number didn't represent very well the breadth of local brews. That could be improved. The food vendors were pretty typical fair type vendors, heavy on the meat and fries. Nothing very innovative.
The events were focused on beer lifting for endurance.

Good to see people care about history!

We really enjoy working with the people at Wolf Creek Pine Run Grist Mill. Always friendly. Always positive. They do several festivals throughout the year, and draw a nice crowd to help support their mission of maintaining this treasure and keeping up the property. Thank you!

Wine tasting event
Jun 2016 • Couples
Fun place for adults to taste many types of wine from many producers. Ten bucks gets you ten taste tickets and a free wine glass. Food vendors are also present with a variety of yumminess.
