We stopped here on a day trip to Huron, and we walked all the trails around the park. We saw geese and a few different species of birds, and some deer, and swans. The views from the trails are really great, and the paths are not too difficult to navigate. We will be back again.

If you are even close to this you must stop and check out the Eagles, and other birds. We were cold but once the Eagles started flying we forgot all about it.

Lot of trails here to go on .. Great to go on Not so good after it rains. Gets muddy in places ...nice visitor center there and rest rooms can see bald eagles there ... Some trails have lots of wooden steps . So not good for wheelchairs or strollers

Another great nature preserve on Lake Erie. Beautiful paths, not too crowded and very well maintained. Lots of birds to see, quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended!

Finally stopped to check out park. Nice place. A small boardwalk lead to walking paths. Paths were either grass or some were paved. A nice lookout over lake. Benches along some of the paths. Scenery was beautiful. A wildlife area were bird boxes and wild flowers. Also a visitor center, but was closed when we were there.

My husband and I enjoy challenging hikes. You won't find that here. The trails are very quick and easy. We both enjoyed the views of wetlands and estuaries. We also liked the maps of the trails. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars, because there was no challenge.

There's so much to learn and see and do - hiking, picnicking (in the woods, yes! - there are benches on the trails), bird-watching, learning activities, live reptiles, etc. My 8yo son especially enjoyed the animals that had been mounted and on display. Can't say I've ever seen such a large swan or or bald eagle or snow owl -... More
