Lovely short walk to the falls, with another short walk to the river. It's really beautiful, but super trashed by visitors. So sad. We took one of the trails that leads out of the main parking lot. It went up into the pine ridge and was gorgeous. No trash or damage by visitors there.

It's a fairly easy trail to reach the waterfall, however the trail head parking lot is blocked off so you have to park across the street. Unfortunately, the falls weren't flowing as much due to lack of rain. It's quite a drive to get to on back roads.

We visit these falls once a year at least. We tend to go in the spring or early summer when the falls are at their fullest. They are very pretty. We usually bring our wellies to creek as well. There are trails at the parking lot across the road and trails away from the falls going down to the river or up to the rocks. In the winter, the park system lights up the paths for a night hike.

Visited specifically the waterfall area on Wednesday, September 9. I arrived around 10 a.m. There were very few other visitors there at this time, which made this a very peaceful setting. The waterfall is a short walk away from the parking lot across the road. It's a very nice waterfall. You can wade in a shallow swimming hole, climb the rock next to the waterfall and even carefully hike up on top of the waterfall. A fun experience. I did not take any of the other trails in the park.

Easy falls to get to. We walked farther past the falls to the river. There is no swimming, it is very dangerous area to swim in because of the under currents. Beautiful rock out cropping in the river. Will go back again
