You Can do easy or challenging walks to view the canyon we did the 697 steps down and a big hike uphill but worth it

An easy walk to the lookout good for all ages. On arrival at the lookout a very spectacular view looking down the Leven River Gorge, also looking up river Black Bluff mountain overshadowing the river and bushland.

The walk around the canyon is well worth it. Grab your camera, comfortable shoes and a bottle of water each and start. The walk to the viewing platform is about 15 mins from the carpark and the scenery is just beautiful. Next part is down...More

We really enjoyed the great views at Levan Canyon, and glad we took a look when holidaying in North West Tasmania. There are a range of enjoyable walks.

We only got to do one track, the Cruikshank track as we had young children in tow and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get to the lookout, and the view was something else highly recommend.

Well worth a visit the canyon is amazing. Great walks...if you like walking up close to 700 steps then make Cruickshanks Lookout 2nd stop... if you prefer going down make it the 1st stop...either way enjoy the scenery

We did the short walk to Cruickshanks Lookout, took about 20 minutes return, an easy walk suitable for all ages. The view from the lookout is awesome, took my breath away. There is an information board in the car park showing a few walks and...More

Is about a 45 minute (windy in parts) drive south of Ulverstone. The reserve has a few lookouts, including Cruikshanks lookout, overlooking the canyon and bluff below. It was very windy the day we were there. This platform maybe 10 minutes walk from carpark up...More

Possibly the lower lookout would be accessible from memory :) but unsure If there were a few stair at the beginning heading down there
