The mood was dark. The stories were similarly so. We toured the site on dust and dark in a hope to glimpse a spectre or two. No ghosts were seen on this night but were felt. A must for all staying the night in port arthur.

Use to be good from what I heard. Was looking forward to this for a long time, Won't let you video or have the opportunity for personally experiences. Although the a majority of the stories from the guide are mainly based on previous experiences of tourists who actually took video. Did not cover the penitentiary area which was disappointing for... We did what is known as the "Waterfront" ghost tour which did involve a few stairs and uphill walking but nothing too strenuous. I've long since been convinced that a spirit is not likely to jump out at you because I reckon they are tired of hoards of strangers in large groups tramping through their spaces but if you are... I was very pumped for this tour as it came highly recommended. We visited the northern side of the site going into buildings that had ghost/haunting history's. the tour was good and I would recommend it, the seperate prison was the best. But I couldn't help but feel our tour guide was just trying to convince people places were haunted... More

We had dinner at Felons before hand. The ghost tour got the balance right with the main focus on history and some great story telling that kept you wondering about the shadows in the corner of the room. It was great to go in the group as the kids made it fun and some of the more nervous people made... More

Our teen boys would not have spent a day wandering placidly around Port Arthur, so we chose to do the Ghost Tour instead. It was a good way to see the site and be informed about some of its history in a short time frame (just short of 90 minutes). Would recommend taking the earlier time-slots for Ghost Tours if... I guess it depends on your guide as to how scared you can get on this nocturnal tour. Ours was a bit docile but nevertheless informative but if you want your pants scared off, you might be disappointed

Nice walking tour at night. Quite informative and entertaining. Not encountering any ghosts could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your expectations.

A really interesting tour of some of Port Arthur's scariest buildings. Our guide Leah made the tour really interesting and gave lots of information about the buildings which was great as we hadn't been in the day. She kept us safe and interested and a little bit spooked all through the tour. Would definitely recommend the tour to anyone.

The idea is interesting but the tour is so quick and, for my opinion, too expensive for what offer. Just walking around some buildings listening the stories about and that's it. Doesn't worth it
