It was suggested to my by the lady at Derwent winery as she had been told about by previous visitors and I am pleased I made the detour as I spent a very peaceful, interesting and informative couple of hours wandering around. You can feed the fish if you purchase $2 bag of great for children. There is a cafe... More

This is a must visit for young and old. Wander around the beautiful gardens, feed the fish, look at some local history. You may even see the resident platypus. Coffee is good too!

Visited Salmon Ponds today for a friend catchup lunch, pancakes were delicious, both sweet and savoury. Lots of people around, big fish to see, great little out of town spot.
