Marakoopa Cave is amazing with a great guide to tell the stories and facts of its findings. Easy access for most able people however has a few low spots and narrow openings to get through if your a broad or tall person.

Not a big cave, however the guide was very informative. The glow worms were the big attraction. Be careful when told to watch your head – do so. It hurts when you don’t.

The cave tours only happen at certain times. This cave is not much different from other caves we have seen, except this one has glow worms that can been seen (when they turn off all the lights). Photos are allowed (except of the glow worms).

This tour requires you to be able to climb lots of stairs, but at a slow pace. The guide was very informative and interesting. The glow worms are most bright in Jan, Feb and March but were still quite visible and lit up like stars...More

We were surprised by how many people joined the Underground Rivers and Glow worm tour. I was under the impression that the chap at the ticket office marked off how many tickets had been sold, yet the tour had far too many people to comfortably...More

Be careful when driving up or down to the carpark nearer to the cave as it is wide enough to accommodate one vehicle only, maybe sounding your horn in advance could be a safe bet. There is no toilet after the ticket office. The tour...More

An amazing tour with a great guide - Dave! Though not a "huge" cave, we enjoyed a lot with Dave's detailed introduction in an about 45 min tour. With more time in the dark, our eyes adopted to see the glowing worms brighter and more...More

I had been really excited about the opportunity to view glow worms, and our tour was scheduled to spend time examining them in the main chamber of the cave (boasted to be the largest publicly accessible display in Australia). Unfortunately, we had < 1 minute...More

Interesting caves with glow worms to light your path. Guides and park staff were great. Good for any age.

Excellent guide (but they forgot to tell us to walk up to the entrance 500 metres away and nearly missed the start of the trip), not a huge cave but lots of well preserved features hanging from the ceilings, glow worms, little river, lots to...More

It all depends. You need to go up and down. It will not be easy to use the trolley. Also, some places are dark and kids may be scared.
