This place was such a waste of time and money. I wish I could give it zero stars! When we arrived we were told that because it was winter (hmmm, I didn't realise Australian winter commenced in May !) they were only doing tours on...More

We drove to the Platypus House so the price of admission was $22.5 Australian. Well worth the time and wait for the guided tour (the only way to visit the creatures). A well done short film starts the tour. Led to a large room where...More

Thought this would be silly, but no, it was very educational. Learning about and seeing the platypus and echidna was so fascinating. They are wonderous special creatures. Worth the visit.

This was a very well run tour, informative and interactive The tanks give good viewing of the Platypus, but the highlight was the hungry echidnas running between your feet I would visit again

Great experience. Up close with the elusive platypus. The guide was entertaining and informative. We also got to see echidna’s feeding which was excellent. We normally only see them burrowing frantically if we come across them in the bush.

We really enjoyed this tour. The echidna’s were very cute as well as the platypus. Our guide was very knowledgable and entertaining. Kids 12 and 10 loved it.

This was a lovely place to visit and learn about platypus. The echidnas were good to see also as they walked around the room among us.
