Drove up here late morning and were rewarded with some spectacular views over the town and the valley. It is very dry which was sad (drought all through NSW) can only imagine how lovely it looks after buckets of rain. Easy drive after a morning...More

Although the trip from Nundle to Hanging Rock Lookout is windy it is well worth the drive. The view back towards Nundle is stunning.

Quick trip to the spectacular views. The road is rough and narrow, so go slow and be aware of other traffic. It was very cold and windy up there on the lookout, but it is winter after all, we took extra clothes, just in case.

Well worth the short drive from town. After a drive through the forest from Walcha we came across this lookout. Fabulous view.

Amazing views but no signage unfortunately to tell us where we are looking. Be careful with road in, it’s 2 way.,

I do not know if camping is allowed. I seem to remember picnic tables but it did not appear that there were campsites.
