I did the river cave which is the longest and allegedly most stranious, but it was very easy. Almost too easy to a point of not being exciting enough :) But our guide Stewart did a lot to keep things interesting with good jokes and stories. Caves themselves are not mind blowing, but quite interesting and very well lit. The... More

We visited the Imperial cave first. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Then we did the Orient cave. Fantastic. Slightly more difficult but worth it. Both guides were excellent. Very informative and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this particularly on a hot day. The caves are a wonderful respite from summer.

Definitely recommend doing the river tour, ask for old mate moresy for a spicy 10/10 experience. He brings a little bit of Albion Park flair to Jenolan.

My second trip to Jenolan Caves within four years and the experience of touring the caves still makes for an interesting trip. The caves are hugely popular with the kids yet offers adults many educational and eye-catching moments. Wear covered shoes or sandals with socks that have good traction and bring jacket as the caves can get rather chilly. Spare... More

Three children aged 14, 12 and 10 were sent on the Plughole adventure which lasted 3 hours and they emerged full of stories, excitement and proud of their certificates. Even being pushed off to abseil hadn't phased the 10 year old. The adults took a leisurely 1300 steps into the River Cave (one of many on offer) which was a... More

We visited Jenolan Caves with my hubby, 3 year old daughter and 11 and 13 year old nieces. We found the telephone staff when we booked the cave tours very knowledgeable, and we pre-booked all our tours. It was no problem once we arrived to change them around. Our 3 year old managed the 1.5 hr Imperial/Diamond cave with no... More

Nearly 1.30 hours of thrilling expedition. Entering through the tunnel and exploring the ' Karst topography ' admist the great Australian Petrology. The professional guide assists the crews and explains the structure provided with lighting arrangement is commendable. The magnificent geological structure of mineral deposits due to ground water activity in limestone is really a rare phenomena and a great... More

We visited Jenolan Caves last week and had a great time. The caves are so beautiful words can't describe. We stayed at Caves House for 2 nights and were able to see a variety of caves. Our favourite was probably the Ribbon Cave but we enjoyed all of the tours. Our guides were very informative and patient when I needed... More

I'm not a good enough wordsmith to describe the absolute beauty of the caves. You'll just have to go and see them for yourself. I'm now a lover of the subterranean! The guides are very knowledgeable and are able to answer all your questions. They make the tours fun.

We booked tickets over the phone prior to arriving to avoid missing out. The person on the phone was really good at negotiating the best times/combinations and available options for our needs. You then have to go and pick your tickets up from the booking office prior to the tour. The Caves themselves were absolutely incredible. For some it's a... More
