This view point is very accessible and offers spectacular views out across the blue mountains. Definitely add Govetts Leap to your itinerary.

Off the tourist track so generally quieter than the look outs at Katoomba but can be accessed via a good pathway through Popes Glen. Accessible by car too with good parking close by.

Worth a visit, beautiful view. Easy to get to if you stay in Blackheath. It fogs up on rainy days so you won’t really see anything.

Yet another of the Blue Mountains' lookouts with spectacular views. The whole area is glorious and we never get tired of looking at It. There are various walking tracks radiating away from the lookout. Free parking.

Definately a must see in the Blue Mountains. There are also picnic tables and shelters, as well as toilets at the lookout.

Easy to get to and park. Views are excellent any time of the day but especially at sunset. You can walk down to the base of the falls. Even though the stairs are steep, the walk is well work the effort.

Plenty of walks in this area and less busy that some other places. Fairly easy walks to both the Bridal Veil Falls and Horseshoe Falls. Longer walks for the more adventurous.

Nice view of the surrounding valleys and Bridal Veil falls. Trailhead for a number of trails, none of which we did. There is also an excellent visitors center near by.

Not sure if you have been yet but there is really no need to walk very far to enjoy the look at Govetts leap itself. Most of the walks from the viewing areas are steepish decent down into the valley. You can easily get a... More
