It doesnt matter if its hot, cold or wet you will not be dissapointed. Cliffs, forrests, waterfalls and caves. If your able bodied, put on some hiking boots and a... More

Incredible views in the day with a rainbow visible at the bottom of Bridal Veil Falls. Great spot to catch the sunrise too. Our favourite lookout.

This lookout provides amazing views and is really accessible as the carpark is right next to the lookout.

Lovely lookout, was covered in clouds when we arrived. We waited n our patience paid off, the clouds cleared and we got some fantastic views of a waterfall and the blue mts! AJ is a bird enthusiast and he spotted birds at the banksia tree! He got some good shots of eastern spinebills, wattle birds and honey waters

Have visited several times over the decades & even done the full walk around and down ! Too old & slow now though ! But for ease of leaving the Great Western Highway and just viewing from the lookout , it is a no brainer ! The walk to Evans Head is really spectacular but the View from the lookout... More

When visiting Blackheath make sure you drive or walk down Govett's Leap Road to see the splendour of Govett's Leap Lookout. Walk through the sandstone arch & the vista that unfolds before your eyes is truly breathtaking. Look out onto that escarpment of the Grose Valley & the majesty of the Canyon! Some have said that beauty even eclipses its... More

This is for sure one of the easiest to access and most spectacular views of the Blue Mountains in Blackheath.

Cool misty day, great for an easy stroll. Lots of parking, paved walk way, takes approx 30 mins one way. Stunning views, great view of the Pulpit. Love the forest scent. Wattle just coming out. Saw lots of butterflies.

Govetts Leap is a place that I can recommend visiting for a short stop (for those simply wanting a stunning lookout view and couple of photos) right up to a full day (for those keen to do some longer walks to Pulpit Rock or exploring the Grose Valley). We almost had the place to ourselves when we arrived 9.00am.
