Dont do it. Not worth the money! Our hotel told us we needed to be ready to leave by 7:30 am, however we didnt leave from the pier for 2 more hours! At the marina, you are told you need a hat, bug spray, waterproof...More

The town of Yelapa is beautiful and most of the local people are very friendly. The ride to Yelapa, likely depending on the time of day and time of year, is quite a choppy ride and you may want to consider some anti-nausea meds prior...More

Our hotel recommended we leave by 730 for the tour that doesn't depart until 9 at the earliest. This is scam #1 to get you to the marina so you can by more drinks and trinkets. We ending up arriving at 845 and still had...More

Snorkeling and kayaking is their favorite, I love the view and the ride on the sea. The crew are hallarious and fun.

One needs to make reservation. The boat is small and the crossing takes 45 minutes, depending on the weather.

We took the snorkeling and sea-kayaking trip with the tour of Yelapa. The crew was fantastic from the moment they greeted us at the port—professional, service-oriented, and entertaining. I was impressed at how they were able to transition seamlessly between various roles, maintaining our safety...More

We stayed at the Barcelo Mismaloya hotel close to Yelapa and should have booked one of the local panga boat captains to take us to Yelapa. The Adventures Tour party boat was too busy, with poor lunch service. Very poor snorkeling, and the trip to...More

We came to escape the noisy hotel resort vibe. Yelapa gave us that for a day. We caught the water taxi from the Los Muertos pier ( end of Malecon board walk) there are kiosks that sells the water taxi fare. From there travel time...More

It's a small place, I would suggest pesos. Restaurants accept credit cards and ATM MACHINES at the airport give you the best USD to Peso exchange.
