Going anywhere with a nearly 92 year old Dad can be a challenge ..... not the case at Nymans Gardens. Lunch was a light affair sitting in the sun sandwiches and tea. We spent some time looking at some of the ancient trees and an...More

We visit this neck of the woods regularly and always return to Nymans. If you want to, you can stay within the formal gardens and enjoy a wonderful setting with backdrops of woodlands below or the romantic ruin at the centre. There is usually some...More

We stopped off at this National Trust location on the way back from a visit to Brighton. After a gentle cruise into the car park, we were concerned that we might not get a space on the blisteringly hot Saturday April afternoon. But we need...More

Love Nymans such a beautiful day out for everyone. The flowers are in bud and blossom trees too. The grounds were a little damp but what a glorious day out for all. Lunch was fab as always.

Visted at Easter, Camellias are starting to come into flower, a few Rhododendrons as well, daffodils well in flower in the sunnier spots, lots still in bud in the shaider areas.

Hi just seen the reply to your question. You CANNOT enter Nymans via the shop. I'm afraid you need to pay an entrance fee or join the NT.

I think you do as from the car park you go through an entrance to the grounds (where you pay) and the entrance to the woodland walk is after that point.
