Standing outside the Rugby Tap wondering whether they admitted dogs, and we found ourselves welcomed and ushered in. There we found a very good selection of local beers in their barrels with a bottle shop next door. With no frills, it was a friendly and...More

We often visit Rugby for a pint of good beer, as in the villages around Rugby its hard to find a decent pint, to much food focus. There are a couple of things that could do with sorting out, to many dogs, why do you...More

We first went into to the little shop next door which sells an excellent mouth-watering selection of ales etc. and decided to pop into their small cosy 'pub' next door. We can see why CAMRA gave the pub an award. We really took to this...More

Beer straight from the barrel and a good selection of beers and ciders - excellent. The two guys serving were so miserable and unwelcoming. The room lacked any sort of comfort or atmosphere. Sums up Rugby, I left 50 years ago and nothing has changed!
