Well worth a visit. Gorgeous when carpeted with bluebells. Spectacular views over Leicestershire. It's said you can see six Counties from there. Why not end with lunch at one of the local hostelries in Hartshill?

This was our first visit to the park and we were amazed to find the whole of the woods blanketed with thousands of bluebells, the most I've seen in one place. Late April/early May is definitely the time to go - I've already made a...More

Lovely park and woodland walk. Well equipped children's play area. Easy parking. Refreshments and picnic benches. Toilets. The woodland is mainly on a fairly steep hill so not suitable for wheelchair users or the unfit. I would recommend you wear sturdy walking boots as the...More

Well worth going a walk round here,we were there last weekend in April & it was like a big blanket of bluebells. Also a good swing park for young ones.

We wouldn't recommend it! As its a dog walkers paradise, there could be those who don't pick up after their pets, and also potential for broken glass etc.,
