My four year old and I visited for a show on 23/12 and had a great time! Fortunately we got into the car park over the road, it can be quite a trek from the other nearest one with little ones.

highly recommended for children of all ages especially king kongs hand which children can sit in and have their pictures taken.it also has dracula,quite scary for very young children.The library itself has very friendly and helpful staff.The cafe is great.

It is an amazing building and holds over 70,000 books amd celebrates the written word. There are a lot of different events held for adults and children. I enjoyed having a browse round the Catherine Cookson Exhibition as I used to love reading her books....More
