Great place to buy one's Christmas (trees) with introduction of "perfect" trees that are of uniform shape and symmetrical.

Thank you for your review. We're glad that you enjoyed your visit. This year, for the first time in over 3 years parking charges increased at Alice Holt Forest. The income raised from parking charges goes straight back in to the maintenance and improvement of...More

Alice Holt has lots of wide paths surfaced with hardcore/gravel, so the paths are usually dry. There's a good visitor centre and the catering facilities are well run and clean, serving good food at reasonable prices. Downside is that the car park fees are in...More

Yet another fun time with the family. Good facilities and trails always in good condition. Cafe breezy but okay. It’s just too expensive to park. A forest outing should be a relatively affordable experience for a family.

Parking can be a chore during peak times but this place is awesome and great value. Kids love it here to run and explore.

Despite being half term the longer walkswere not busy at all and made for an enjoyable family (with dog) walk. The walks designed for younger children were very busy. The food at the cafe was good.

This is a nice concept, forest trails on good surfaces, lots to see and do, but heavily aimed at the younger semi educational market, which if gets kids off playstations and phones, is no bad thing. There are some good woodland pay areas, statues and...More
